The Breville the Grind Control combines a programmable drip coffee maker with a built-in burr grinder to grind coffee beans immediately before brewing. It can brew coffee directly into its 12-cup thermal carafe, a single cup, or a travel mug, while offering multiple settings to customize the grind and strength to individual preferences.
The integrated grinder uses stainless steel burrs to grind coffee beans immediately before brewing. Six grind settings allow you to adjust the fineness based on the beans being used and the desired results. The grinder can also be turned off when using pre-ground coffee.
Eight settings let you customize coffee strength, from level 1 for a milder cup to level 8 for a bolder brew. The system adjusts the amount of ground coffee according to the number of cups and the selected strength.
In Carafe mode, you can brew from 2 to 12 cups depending on the amount of water available in the reservoir. Cup mode offers seven size options for brewing coffee directly into a cup or compatible travel mug.
The double-wall stainless steel carafe holds up to 12 cups, or 60 oz. Its thermal design helps keep coffee hot without the need for a warming plate.
The Auto Start function lets you program the time you want brewing to begin. The coffee maker automatically starts grinding and brewing so your coffee is ready at the scheduled time.
Steep and Release technology adjusts the brewing process according to the selected size to promote balanced extraction, whether coffee is brewed into the carafe, a large cup, or a travel mug.
The LCD display clearly shows key settings, including grind size, grind time, and the selected number of cups. The controls also allow you to set the clock, Auto Start, and brewing preferences.
